GoCompare underwent major website changes from 2017 onwards. The goal was to drastically rethink its core user journey, car Insurance which at the time, need a fresh and engaging experience.
We found that a significant volume of customers was leaving the website once they had filled out their details and were presented with their car insurance quotes.
I ran a number of workshops on key areas the Car Insurance journey to identify and address pain points pulled from surveys and user testing. This fed into the redesign plan for each area of the journey.
I'd always sketch out/whiteboard ideas along with design crit sessions with my peers. this helped me shape the base blueprints for each individual project.
We positively transformed multiple areas of the Car Insurance journey. Each had a positive effect on core conversion as well as usability.
